So I am beginning this blog in dedication to Love and all those people that still believe in it. This is also a special dedication to my best friend, whose birthday is today and has always shared the same idea of love with me.
When I say Love, I don't mean...oh my god, I love my boyfriend, he's so great love. It's the genuine notion of recognizing the little things that signify love. That love that puts goosebumps on your skin at the thought of locking eyes with that someone special. That love when the littlest notion seems like the greatest gift you could ever ask for in that moment.
In today's society, I am sadden by how little people care about love. Love is no longer treated as the greatest love of all. Universally, it is still stated that love is the greatest gift you can have, but how many people actually still believe in that these days. Too often these days, people are cynical about the idea of finding true love. People no longer search for that unconditional, can't breathe, can't live, without kind of love. They write it off instead and suggests it's a symbolism of being weak and the incapability of being Independent, when those are two absolutely unrelated items. Love is supposed to be great. It's supposed to be rewarding. It's supposed to be breathtaking. It should be without a doubt the best feeling in the world. And I encourage everyone to look for it.
For the next 365 Days...I am taking on the challenge of writing a statement every day in recognition of the little things that symbolize or recognize what love is. I encourage anyone who wants to join me, to spread the idea that love not something you throw around. Love is something special and it's reflected in the littlest notion being made, recognize it.
